As an avid player, I have learned a few valuable lessons while playing over the decades. It does not matter if you are partial to betting at the ‘bricks and mortar’ casinos or the many net casinos. Below are my golden codes of betting, many of which can be looked at as common sense, but if adhered to they will assist you in going a long way to leaving with money in your account.
Rule 1: Go into a casino with a determined figure that you are ready and are able to afford to wager – How much would you spend for an evening out on diner, beers, cover charges and tips? This is a great number to use.
Rule two: Don’t pack your credit card with you – or any way of drawing cash out. Don’t concern yourself about cash for the cab if you squander it all; most cab operators, in particular the taxis booked through casinos, will drive you to your house and will be more than happy to wait for the moolah when you get back.
Rule 3: Stick to an upper threshold. I always think of what I would love to purchase if I win. The last time I was able to go, I concluded I would would love to buy a new digital SLR camera which cost around $400, so that was my set threshold. As soon as I reached that number, I quit. Just walk away. Even if Clairvoyant Carla herself gives you the next number for the roulette wheel, ignore her and back off. Head out safe in the understanding that you will certainly be going into town and acquiring a nice brand-new toy!
Rule 4: Have a good time. When you’re "energetic" you usually will win. It’s a reality. I don’t understand how, but it clearly is. Right after it becomes a commitment, or you are just wagering to make $$$$ you have lost, you usually will fritter away more. When you are profiting, having a great time with your buddies, or your significant other, you will certainly earn even more.
